FAQ: Billing and Payment
How often will I receive my auto insurance bills?
When it comes to paying for your auto insurance, Esurance offers several convenient options to suit your needs. While some customers pay for their auto insurance in full, others have the option of paying in monthly installments.
Depending on where you live, an auto insurance term at Esurance is 6 months or 12 months. When you buy your policy, you値l pay either your entire premium or a down payment, depending on your payment plan. Keep in mind, however, that if you make a change to your policy that causes an increase to your premium, you値l be charged an interim payment.
For your convenience, Esurance will automatically withdraw your payments when they池e due. No matter which payment method you use, you値l find automatic withdrawal makes payment easy. Esurance will always send you an email reminder before we withdraw payment from your account; however, you can also check your online account at any time to get the status of your payments.
In addition, Esurance will automatically renew your auto insurance policy every term. We値l send you a renewal offer 45 days before your policy expires, detailing any changes to your policy. Your renewal payment will be taken prior to the start of your new policy term to ensure that your payment is processed on time and you avoid gaps in your insurance coverage.
When we renew your policy, we値l use your current payment method to automatically withdraw your payment. If you want to change your payment method, just log into your account at any time. The update will go into effect in your next automatic payment.
With Esurance, keeping on top of your auto insurance payments is practically effortless. With 24/7 online account management, you can review your policy and make changes anytime. Just like getting a quote and buying your policy, managing your auto insurance is easy at Esurance!
