What We Do
Esurance began selling online auto insurance policies in 1999. Drivers caught on fast, and our convenient, reliable coverage is now available in 28 states.

While our customers can manage their policies online at their convenience, they can also call our 24/7 customer service center with questions. Also, we think consumer education is an important corporate responsibility, particularly in the confusing world of insurance.
To keep our customers informed, our online Learning Center provides answers to frequently asked questions, glossary terms, an interactive auto insurance coverage counselor, and Esurance Insights. The goal of our Learning Center is to explain insurance in "plain English" and highlight important topics related to cars and drivers.
As for supporting the environment, Esurance saves millions of sheets of paper each year by offering online policy documents and communicating with policyholders by email. In fact, by choosing a paperless customer experience, we estimate that our policyholders have helped save over 2,748 trees since 2000.
Esurance proudly sponsors several organizations nationwide that work to improve our environment. We also employ hybrid claims vehicles in areas where they’re available. And our spokesperson, Erin Esurance, does her part by driving a hybrid vehicle and fighting off "anti-green" villains.
