It's been a while since my last report. (What's new?) Sorry about that. I know it makes my handler's job more difficult in keeping track of me. For that, I apologize. It's your job to keep me safe, and that's hard to do if I'm not keeping up with my reports. Since my last report from the field, I've been all around the country again, busy with my work at Esurance and busy with my "night job," secret agent.
Itemized report as follows:
 |
1) Spent time in the mountains, boarding and investigating ongoing reports of tree-killing, paper-guzzling robots.
2) Went to a racing school, where I got re-certified in disaster driving and special evasive techniques.
3) Visited the Wild West out at our Special Investigations Unit target range, where I was supposed to brush up on my self-defense skills.

As always, I learned a lotespecially since it ended up not being "training" or "practice." The bad guys were hot on my heels, and showed up in every single location. As I can find secure channels, I'm broadcasting visual and audio reports for you. Please help me determine their identities and analyze any other clues you see there. Stay tuned to Erin Cam as I archive these updates.
In addition to the bad guys, OF COURSE, the mysterious stranger kept turning up. Again, he's always in the mood to talk about auto insurance from Esurance, where I work as a part of my deep cover.
Once, I got your call and answered an auto insurance emergency. OF COURSE, it turned out to be him AGAIN. He's got a nice apartment. He's very friendly, but he definitely seems to be hiding something. (Don't we all, I guess?)
You'll be able to take a look soon. I've gotten 60 seconds of film this time. And, I noted a communications device that transformed into a bar. He doesn't know I saw that. I tried to act a little nervous about what was going on, so he wouldn't know I'm on to him. (Though I actually was kind of nervous, because, as you know, he's starting to grow on me!)
I will have to work even harder to find out whom he's really working for. If he's not on our side, he's dangerous. Hard to believe that, as he's always been so nice and helpful. I guess you just never know with people, do you? I shouldn't let my feelings get in the way of business though. If he IS a bad guy, he'll have to be captured and dealt with
just like the rest of em.
Regarding my cover job at Esurance, I've even gotten to do some good there. I helped stop a hit-and-run incident right here in San Francisco! After work, this guy in a giant car was parking and repeatedly ramming into another car while trying to park. When he didn't leave his accident information, I followed him, and then politely informed him that he MUST leave his insurance information in case the other person needed to file a claim. Sometimes, I can't believe what people try to get away with.
As you can see, this year's already been busy, and it's only January! I'll broadcast more reports, and you should be seeing me around the country even more. My one resolution is to definitely write you more reports from the field! Be sure to keep in touch, & drop me a line on my secure email now and then. Maybe we'll meet each other one of these days, even though I know it's against the safety and security protocols.
Until the next time
remember, if you're on the go, you've gotta have Esurance!
