Erin Esurance Agent Log – July 4, 2008
Independence Day = Operation: Independence Summer
Hi HQ!
I have no excuses for my lack of posts. Other than my usual— saving the world from evil and over-priced auto insurance leaves a girl pretty busy.
Before I head off for a little R&R to celebrate our country's freedom, I just wanted to suggest that we all declare our independence for the entire summer from high gas prices, CO2 emissions, and some of the other unpleasant things that can be associated with our automobiles.
If you can walk or bike, give it a try. If you have public transit in your area, turn on your tunes and read the paper or a good book. (It's a lot less stressful than driving, I assure you.) If you can't give up your wheels, why not carpool? In a lot of places, you'll find that traffic's a breeze with special lanes for carpoolers.
If all you special agents in the field drive a little different this summer, even if it's for just for one or two days a month, it adds up to a big difference in terms of fuel consumption and emissions.
And, in a just for kicks note, since it is summer, I was surprised to find that some very special agents, Tinnitis and DJ Slow, created a tribute song about me. (So much for my secret cover!)
Have a listen to "I'm in Love with Erin Esurance," over on MySpace. (Scroll on the music player to find the song.)

Though it makes me blush a little, it's kinda catchy, don't ya think?
Agents in the field: drop me your song stylings, artwork, or simply a line or two on my secure mail. A special agent's only as good as her field operatives make her.
Happy Independence Summer!
